Ingredients

Scale

For the Burgers:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Bowls:

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked (optional)

  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)

For the Special Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard

  • 2 tablespoons pickles, minced

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef and cook until browned and crumbled, about 5–7 minutes. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease if needed.

  2. Make the Special Sauce:
While the beef is cooking, whisk together mayonnaise, tomato paste, mustard, minced pickles, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  3. Assemble the Bowls:
In each bowl, layer chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, pickles, bacon (if using), and shredded cheese. Top with the cooked beef and finish with a generous drizzle of special sauce.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground turkey or chicken.

Want to spice it up? Add a pinch of cayenne to the sauce.

These bowls are perfect for meal prep—just store ingredients separately and assemble when ready to eat.
